We barely had time to fill up our new apartment with boxes of old things from storage, before we packed up again and took off for England.
The trip was long but we saw some very nice things, including the fruit garden at Tatton Park and some Roman ruins in the town of Chester.
I also brushed up on my British by settling into a coffee shop and reading a little Virginia Woolf.
